Alfreton Town look to bounce back from Saturday's defeat at Bradford PA as we welcome 20th placed Brackley to the Impact Arena in the National League North, kick off is 7.45pm.
The ongoing saga of allowing supporters into stadiums at non league level has stretched on with the Reds considered as 'Elite', all of our league fixtures will be played behind closed doors as instructed by government guidelines and protocols. However we hope to welcome our supporters back to the Impact Arena and back on the road as soon as possible and as soon as government guidelines will allow to do so.
The club announced the historic launch of ATFCTV prior to last Tuesday's visit of AFC Fylde which went down as an overwhelming success and supporters can once again tune in to our live stream from 7.30pm this evening. As always Amar Sharma will be joined on co-commentary by Nathan Evans and guest co-commentator John Hunt will be joining Amar and Nathan for this fixture.
Alfreton were frustratingly beaten on Saturday to lose the unbeaten run we had to the start of the season. It was a tale of missed chances for the Reds as we dominated periods of both the first and the second half. Chances came for Elliott Reeves, Nicky Walker and Nathan Fox in the first half, we continued to let chances go by with James Jones, Connor Branson, Toby Lees and Jake Day all having openings.
Bradford took their chances with both goals coming in the second half, but despite the result it was another good performance from the Reds, who simply just couldn't put the ball in the net on Saturday.
We head into tonight's fixture with just one defeat from our opening five league games. Saturday's 2-0 defeat was the first time the Reds had conceded two goals in a fixture this season and the first time we had failed to find the net in this campaign thus far.
It's been a case of tight games for Alfreton with four goals scored and five conceded in five league games this season. Impact Arena form has been solid so far with two draws from our first two home games against Spennymoor and Fylde.
Brackley arrive to us sitting in 20th in the league table with two points from three matches, they are four points below us with two games in hand.
Their current playing record stands at: P3, W0, D2, L1.
The Saints have had an incredible FA Cup run beating Billericay, Kettering, Marske and Bishop's Stortford to book their place in the Second Round of the competition and were drawn away to League Two Tranmere Rovers. Because of this, Brackley have only played three league games so far and have yet to register their first win.
Despite this, the Saints have only lost once in all competitions this season, which was on the opening league game of the season (Telford 3-0 NLN). Brackley have yet to win and score away from home this season, losing at Telford and drawing at York (0-0) in the league so far.
BREAKING THE DUCK: Alfreton have yet to beat Brackley at the Impact Arena (D3, L2) and have won just one of the last five meetings both home and away (1-3 April 2018)
Venue:
The Impact Arena - Behind Closed Doors
THIS FIXTURE WILL BE LIVE STREAMED:
ATFCTV will be live streaming the fixture for £6, details of how to order and access the stream can be found here

The last meeting between the sides turned out to be the last game both played in the 2019/20 campaign due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Brackley hit four goals, two in the first half from Wes York and James Armson; Matt Lowe and Lee Ndlovu added two more in the second.
The Reds grabbed two late consolation goals in stoppage time to haul the heavy score-line back to a competitive one as Bobby scored from the spot and an own goal from Glenn Walker saw us lose 4-2.
