Alfreton Town will be looking for a third win on the spin in the National League North, as we head to Yorkshire to face Farsley Celtic, kick off at the Citadel is 3pm.
It's been a positive last week or so after the tragic news of Jordan Sinnott's passing with the Reds chalking up wins against Gloucester City and Hereford in our last two games. The performances have been fantastic with Alfreton demolishing Gloucester 6-1 last Tuesday with Danny Elliott grabbing a hat-trick, Bobby Johnson adding two and Amari Morgan-Smith also on the scoresheet.
Hereford produced another good performance from us, we didn't quite hit the heights of Gloucester but the Reds produced quality when required with Josh Clackstone hitting a sweet effort into the bottom corner from 25 yards after patient build up.
Danny Elliott scored his fourth goal in two games since joining on loan as he reacted to Bobby's shot being palmed into his path. Despite the Bulls having their fair share of chances and Jordan Wright making key saves, we kept a clean sheet and we head into tomorrow's game looking to continue the momentum.
Alfreton will be looking for a third win in a row tomorrow but correcting recent away form will also be crucial, the Reds have lost four of the last five away league games including our last outing at Darlington (3-0) on 18th January.
Farsley Celtic sit 11th in the league table with 41 points from 28 games, they are five points and two places above us. Farsley grabbed an impressive 1-0 win at Brackley on Saturday, leaving them three points off the play off positions.
Their current playing record stands at: P28, W12, D5, L11.
The Celts 1-0 win at Brackley ended a run of six games without a win in all competitions, home form has brought back to back draws with Barnet in the FA Trophy and Telford in the league.
The hosts have lost just once in their last seven at the Citadel in all competitions.

Our last meeting with the Celts saw an away win for the visitors, Nyle Blake gave us the lead inside 30 seconds before former Red Tom Allan headed an equaliser and then a brace from Spencer saw a 3-1 lead at the break. Conor Branson hit a wonderful 25 yarder to pull the deficit back, however Syers sealed the win on 67 minutes.
