Alfreton Town make the journey to the Tameside Stadium tomorrow afternoon looking to build on back to back league draws as we face Curzon Ashton in the National League North, kick off is 3pm.
The Reds will be looking to turn draws into wins after two successive draws at the Impact Arena against Kings Lynn and Telford. It's been a return to a competitive edge for Billy Heath's side who had lost five in a row prior to the the previous draws but attention now focuses on a big three points on offer against Curzon who sit four points below us.
The gap to the drop zone has edged slightly closer with a previous cushion of 12 points now just ten but the Reds last two performances have been far better and back towards the levels shown in August and September and it was another hard-working display to grab another point on New Years Day against the Bucks.
Despite trailing early on thanks to McQuilkin's fabulous strike, we hit back through Ben Tomlinson's prodded finish from Amari Morgan-Smith's cross. All in all the draw was the fair result between the sides as the Reds chalked off another point.
We head into tomorrow's fixture looking to extend our unbeaten run to three games after losing our previous five in all competitions. Our win-less run currently stands at eight games in all competitions with our last win coming on 12th November at Hereford (1-2).
The Reds will be looking to avoid a fourth straight away defeat after losses against Telford, Gateshead and York.
Hosts Curzon currently in 19th in the league table with 23 points from 23 games, they are three places and four points below us.
Their current playing record stands at: P23, W6, D5, L12.
With the gap to the relegation zone just six points for Curzon, they may be looking over their shoulder slightly heading into tomorrow's game. A win for the Nash will ease the pressure and in turn put them just a point behind the Reds. With the middle portion of the table so tight, three points could see us rise from 16th to as high as 12th depending on results.
Curzon head into the game having lost four of their last five in all competitions, this run has come after the Nash had won four of their previous five.
The hosts recent home form has been good with just one defeat (Altrincham 0-1) in their last six home outings, winning four of these.

Our last meeting with the Nash saw an Amari Morgan-Smith hat-trick as the Reds forward was on fire at the Impact Arena, we led 2-0 at the break before Amari added a third, Danny Clarke was then sent off for a second bookable offence. Two late goals from the Nash set up a tense ending but saw three points for Alfreton.
