Shaun joined us in February 2020 from Boston United; Tuton arrived at The Jakemans Stadium in July 2019 to become the Pilgrims’ 10th signing of the summer.

Tuton brings in a wealth of experience having featured for Buxton, Matlock Town, FC Halifax Town, Barnsley, Grimsby Town, Chester and Spennymoor Town.

Shaun concluded the 2018-2019 season on loan at Chorley before landing a deal at Boston after impressing on trial. Tuton featured 18 times for United during the 2019/20 season, scoring twice. His switch to the Impact in February of this year saw him make just one appearance due to injury before the season then ended in March.

Tuton has since featured for the Reds during pre-season, including grabbing a brace as we beat Mickleover 2-1 on 1st September.

"Shaun didn't play too many games when he came to us, he didn't feature as much for Boston so his fitness levels were not where they should be. He had an injury too before the season was cut short but he is such an experienced player at this level and above.

He is really looking to get going again and score goals, he works tirelessly and it's all about getting the minutes now. Tutes has had a really good pre season so far, he did well at Basford and the second half at Mickleover he was outstanding and grabbed himself two goals. It provides more competition up front and Tutes will be a very strong player for us."
