Alfreton Town are delighted to announce the permanent signing of 26 year old ex Altrincham midfielder Yusifu Ceesay subject to FA approval.
The Spanish born midfielder who can also be used as a pacey winger joins the Reds after being released by the Robins at the conclusion of the 2020/21 season.

Ceesay began his career with West Midlands based Sporting Khalsa before joining Alverchurch and going on to earn a big move to Blackpool. He was then sent out on loan to no fewer than four different National League North clubs during the 2018/19 season including Nuneaton Town, AFC Telford United, Boston United and Altrincham. He then joined the Manchester based outfit on loan for a second time for the 2019/20 season before signing a 2 year contract with Phil Parkinson`s men. Across his three spells at Moss Lane he scored 6 goals in 56 appearances including a brace as Altrincham romped to a 7-0 victory at the Impact Arena on a day to forget for the Reds in April 2019.
The free agent goes straight in to the matchday squad as we host AFC Telford tomorrow and follows the announcement earlier today of defender Ritchie Sutton arrival from Altrincham FC on a 1 month loan deal.
