Steve Evans to bring his Rotherham United side to the Impact Arena

The relentless Pre Season programme continues for Alfreton Town on Tuesday night as Rotherham United are the latest EFL side to visit Derbyshire this summer. So far Alfreton have recorded draws against a strong Notts County side and Ilkeston Town. Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley and Chesterfield have all visited DE55 and recorded a victory.
Reds manager Billy Heath will be checking the fitness of key members of the Alfreton Town squad including George Willis, Adam Lund, Max Hunt and Jake Day who have all been nursing a slight knock.
Rotherham United are heading in to their 100th season in existence and are managed by Steve Evans who is back for a second spell in charge of the Millers. Following relegation from the Championship last season Rotherham United have returned to League One. Evans has made some excellent signings including lethal striker Johnson Clarke Harris from Peterborough, centre back Sean Raggett from Portsmouth and former Alfreton Town loanee keeper Cameron Dawson from Sheffield Wednesday. Dawson replaced another former Reds loanee keeper in Victor Johannsson who has left the Millers to sign for Stoke City.
Rotherham United have graced the Impact Arena a number of times over the years. Alfreton recording a 3-2 win in 2015 thanks to goals from Sam Jones, John Johnston and Joe Ironside. Rotherham`s most recent visit game in 2017 when they won 2-0 thanks to goals from Ball and Taylor

Kick off is 19.30 at the Impact Arena with tickets avaliable online or on the gate
