Alfreton Town host promotion chasing Kidderminster Harriers at the Impact Arena on Saturday afternoon in National League North looking to build on last weekend's morale boosting victory at Scarborough Athletic.
The Reds were out of action in midweek following the postponement of their home game with Darlington.
The Reds dropped to 12th place after the midweek action thats 8 points adrift of Harriers who currently occupy the final play off berth in seventh place.
Given the position of the opposition Saturday provides a good opportunity for Alfreton to start their late bid to finish in the top seven.
However Reds boss Billy Heath will be aware that Alfreton`s home form will need to improve with Ofton tasting victory in just two of their last eight in DE55 and none so far in 2025.
Kidderminster, managed by former Premier League boss Phil Brown arrived in Derbyshire in poor form - a run of four games without a win has seen Harriers lose ground on the automatic promotion race.
Last time out saw the Worcestershire side pick up a decent point away at Chester who have been the form horse of the division in recent weeks which has seen the seals hit the summit.
Alfreton Town have bolstered a squad short on numbers with the loan signing of highly rated midfielder Owen German from National League side Altrincham who will be available for selection.
Fellow loanee Kobe Hall will not be available to play against his parent club however.
Ofton will go in search of a notable league double over Harriers after a hard fought 1-0 away back secured thanks to an Alex Penny own goal.
Alfreton have a decent record against their opponents with just albeit noticeable defeat in the least four, that being a play off eliminator at the end of the 2023/24 season as Harriers went on to win the play offs and promotion to the National League.
This fixture will be segregated.

Parking at the Impact Arena is incredibly limited. We recommend the pay and display parking on Rogers Lane, DE55 7FF and also at Severn Square, DE55 7BT - both are a five to ten minute walk to and from the Impact Arena.
Please be considerate of residents on the estate next to the arena, particularly Connaught Court, Bentley Close and North Street. We ask supporters to avoid parking in the residential areas around the ground and instead ask that you follow the advice and park in the pay and display car parks.
