As we enter single figures for games remaining in the 2021/22 National League North season, Alfreton Town travel to Aggbrough to face Kidderminster Harriers tomorrow night for the second time this campaign after the original fixture was abandoned back in February.
Billy Heath`s side head in to the contest on the back of a morale boosting 2-1 win at Kidderminster`s local rivals Hereford FC on Saturday.
Young starlet Bailey Hobson struck with his 14th goal of the season with a little help from Bulls keeper, and former Harrier Brandon Hall. Yusifu Ceesay doubled the lead in first half injury time with his first goal since December 2021. Hereford did pull a goal back with 10 minutes to play but Alfreton held on comfortably to record a first league win in five games.
A win for the Reds could move them up one place if results elsewhere go their way while a Harriers win would allow them to consolidate a play off finish.
Both sides have won just 1 of their last 6 league games so will be keen to obtain the three points.
Recent Reds signings Ethan Dosanjh, James Oliver along with loanees Lewis Salmon, Cody Collins and Jack Deakin will be in conention to make Alfreton debuts at Aggbrough
