It has been confirmed that Alfreton Town`s outstanding FA Cup tie with Biggleswade Town will now take place on Tuesday 8th October with kick off set for 19.45.

The original tie was postponed due to a waterlogged playing surface at the Sonning Finance Stadium. The match was rearranged to Tuesday 1st of October but frustratingly this also feel victim to the weather with the match referee deeming the pitch unplayable just 75 minutes before kick off.

This was not before the playing staff and supporters had made the near 120 mile journey down to Bedfordshire the match.

However, it was announced today with the fixture needing to be played and further concerns regarding rainfall in the Bedfordshire area over the coming days the game had been switched to the Impact Arena with kick off scheduled for 19.45
